A giant blossom to Diane Phillips and the Woodford Bank travel club. The travel club was a great opportunity for Woodford Bank customers and friends to participate in a well run travel program. When looking for a bank to work with, this was another reason for pick Woodford Bank. Bank of Woodford has decided to end this travel club that I know was a great public relations tool. I hope Woodford Bank will bring it back in the near future. Thanks again Diane and the travel club. - Anonymous

A huge barb to Green County. The people on medical assistance are allowed medical mileage. I called in all my appointments but Green County chose to pay only what they want. They said I have to prove I called in. How do you prove you called in? I think the county is being cheap at the poor's expense. I hope you all can sleep well at night. - Anonymous

A big blossom to Dean Signer for bringing it to my attention and then to the National Cheesemaking Center about the old cheese factory. A blossom also to Arnold Imobersteg for donating it to the center. Also a big blossom to all the area newspapers on the great coverage. It brings good memories of all the cheesemakers in our family, too many to list, and a big thank you from a past Swiss cheesemaker. - John Tuescher Jr.

A big blossom to the following individuals and businesses for helping me make the summer school class, Flannelboard Fun, a reality: Mary Grinnell for giving me the opportunity to offer the class; Vince's Pizza and Pizza Hut for the boxes that became our flannelboards; the Monroe Public Library, Jane Bodeau and Brenda Studer for materials loaned to me to print poems, stories and patterns; and my aide, Paige Burandt, for her assistance in my larger classes and her knowledge of Spanish. Thanks to you all. - Kim Scott

Two huge blossoms ... one to the Dairy Queen and one to Kundert's 66 for once again hosting Cruise Night every Saturday night in July. What a great family activity. Only two more Saturdays in July to come down and see a great collection of vehicles. - Sherri and Bob Perdue
