Many blossoms to the Monroe City Band and its director, Randy Schneeberger, who put on a wonderful concert in the park tonight (Monday), despite the threat of rain. It's a shame more people weren't there to enjoy your entertainment but those of us who braved the elements really appreciated your awesome music. Even the mosquitoes cooperated and left us alone tonight. We are sad to think there is only one more summer concert in the park left for this year.
