A beautiful bouquet of blossoms to the people of Massachusetts for voting Brown in!!! I knew there would be a strong backlash against Obama's extremist policies, but never imagined it would start only one year after he took office. What a huge relief because I don't want to pay any more taxes than I already have to. - Very Happy Today

I too, would like to send blossoms to the voters of Massachusetts. Thanks to them, the health care and pharmaceutical companies I have invested heavily in can continue to raise their rates (and profits) at double digit levels! And I don't even have to pay for my health care! Now if they could scuttle banking reform I'd have the trifecta. Talk about a win-win situation. - Laughing

An extremely Large Barb to the Monroe Times and the Green County Board of Supervisors for their lack of sensitivity and compassion for the family of Don and Susan Stoor. The information in the article that was published on Jan. 13, 2010, regarding the $55,000 owed to Green County by Don Stoor (who stated prior to his death on Dec. 4, 2009) that it was a misunderstanding. This information was known long before, after all, how does one suddenly find $55K missing? The Monroe Times and the Green County Board of Supervisors chose to run that article on the same day, Jan. 13, 2010 that Susan Stoor's obituary appeared on the back of the article. This was at a time the whole family was in Monroe for her funeral. The family has had more than enough suffering. This was totally uncalled for. HOW INAPPROPRIATE!!!!! - Nancy Camron Celta, Monroe

A big barb to the County Board for its reported plan to sue the estate of Don Stoor for rent claimed to be unpaid on the home his family occupied at Pleasant View. You don't have to be a lawyer to figure out how obviously unfair it is to sit on your "rights" for 15 years and then decide to assert them when the other guy is no longer around to tell his side of the story. And while I'm at it, a big barb to the Times for not waiting a few days to report this tidbit, instead of running it side-by-side with the funeral notice for one of the supposed tenants. - Anonymous

I would like to give a blossom to Vince's Pizza in Monroe. Every time I call there everyone is so pleasant, the food is excellent whether delivered or picked up, and your prices are very reasonable. Keep up the good work! - Michelle

Blossom to Dr. Armstrong and his team for a great job going above and beyond comforting our little man. For a procedure that was so small, but HUGE to him. Thank you!! - The Nusbaum Family
