Blossoms & Barbs: Dec. 6, 2014

A barb against those that set up and the City of Brodhead for allowing the nativity scene in Town Square Park (historic name)/Veterans Park (modern name). It does not belong in a public park. It belongs on church or private property. Placing religious symbols on pubic property violates the right of freedom religion, which also means freedom from religion, and the Jeffersonian principle of separation of church and state. - Dave Searles
