What an honor the 2009 Brat Bash event has been. Twining Valley Retirement Community, Monroe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Angelus Retirement Community, were truly blessed with this event. The outpouring we received from Carla and the Monroe Clinic Hospice was unforgettable and unbelievable. I remember the day that I first spoke to Carla; she was so excited and willing to help. The Monroe Clinic Hospice program truly is a wonderful organization. We have enjoyed working with you for this event and we feel such a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Giving back to the community is one of the most gratifying things that anyone can do.

I remember in 1998, Monroe Clinic Hospice took care of my grandfather. It was the first time I realized what an unbelievable organization Hospice is. The employees truly love what they do and it shows. It takes a very special person to do what Hospice employees do, and for that we all are thankful. The Hospice employees helped my grandfather pass over into the next life with such love and dignity. And for that, I thank you and will forever be grateful.

Thank you to my partners, Monroe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Angelus Retirement Community. I think the three of us made a wonderful team. I may only be speaking on behalf of Twining Valley, but I think we may be up for the 2010 Brat Bash.

Twining Valley Retirement Community, Monroe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Angelus Retirement Community were happy to present Monroe Clinic Hospice with a donation of $6003.
