OK, everyone else can go home now. Little David A. just won it last night.

Hes got the voice and the presence on stage to make it all the way. And just how charming can the kid be? Im totally behind him now. I dont feel the need to squish him and hang him from my rearview mirror as Paula suggested, but I would vote for him, for sure.

(And what the heck is Paulas problem? Was she crying because she realized how ridiculous she sounded? David sang the heck out of Imagine, but cmon.)

Big surprises: I wasnt a huge David Hernandez fan before, but he was awesome last night. And holy vocal pipes, Chickerizie! I wasnt impressed with him before, but I was last night.

Jason Castro is still worthy of sticking around. He doesnt have the vocal strength of some of them, but he has a very appealing quality and worth keeping around.

Michael Johns was so-so. Kinda disappointed, but hes still very talented. Hope he blows me away again next week.

Time to go: Jason Yaeger and Luke need to go. They just dont have it.
