Im putting together a photo gallery online and listening to my iPod. I picked up the new Bruce Springsteen album this week, called Working on a Dream, which is excellent, by the way. Perhaps Ill write a little more about the album later, but I have a couple of quick questions.
In the albums fourth track, Queen of the Supermarket, the Boss drops the F-bomb. Id consider myself a Springsteen fan, but not a big enough one that I can recall all of his lyrics. But hearing the F-word come out during a Springsteen song was jarring enough when I heard it that it made me think it might be a first for him.
Does anyone out there know? Would any of you expect it?
And one more question, since Ive referred to Working on a Dream as an album three times in this blog, what do you call recordings now? Do you call them albums? CDs? Or something else. Am I dating myself by calling them albums?
