This was definitely a team effort, not only by the MWC wrestlers, but by everyone involved in the planning and preparation for this tournament. Thank you to Monroe High School Varsity wrestler, Christian Schuh, for playing the National Anthem on his saxophone to start our tournament Sunday morning. This tournament would also not be as successful as it is without the help of so many people: the George and Gabrielle Breadon Family; the generous businesses and families who donated towards our club and the tournament; the Monroe High School Wrestling Team and Coaches; Monroe Wrestling Alumni; families of our current MWC wrestlers; families of our current high school wrestlers; the Monroe High School; the MWC Board and Tournament Planning Committee, and, finally, the MWC wrestlers, MWC Coaches - John Amacher; Cory Fletcher; Jeremy Treuthardt; and Nick Wellman and Head Coach John Witt. The support and dedication by all of these people is nothing short of amazing, which will help continue the growth of the wrestling program here in Monroe.
