The Monroe Wrestling Club hosted a 3-day Badger Wrestling Camp for 42 wrestlers with University of Wisconsin Badger wrestler Trent Hillger from June 28-30 at the MWC facility.

Hillger’s honors and awards include:

●  3x State Champion for Lake Fenton High School - Linden, Michigan

●  Stand-out high school football player, was also recruited to play at UW-Madison

●  Top 10 Academic Standing all 4 years of high school

●  3x NCAA Division 1 All-American (’21, ’20, ’19)

●  6th place, 2021 NCAA Championships (285 pounds)

●  5th place, 2021 Big Ten Championships (285 pounds)

●  2020 NCAA Championship Qualifier (285 pounds)

●  4th place, 2020 Big Ten Championships (285 pounds)

●  Big Ten Wrestler of the Week (Nov. 26, 2019)

●  8th place, 2019 NCAA Championship (285 pounds)

●  4th place, 2019 Big Ten Championship (285 pounds)
