Monroe has open dance spots

MONROE — The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department has open spots available in their Tot Lot program dance classes. 

Dancing Fun, learn a dance to one of Jo-Jo’s songs, will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St., Monroe. This is for ages 5 years and older. Instructors will be Maddison Markham and Abby Price. There is a fee for this class.

Ballet/ Children’s Dance: 

Ballet l, 3 and 4-year-olds, will be held from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. and Ballet ll, 5 years and older, will be held from 5:50 to 6:20 p.m. Mondays starting Aug. 10 through Sept. 28 at Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St., Monroe. There will be no dance Sept. 7. Instructors will be Maddison Markham and Abby Price. There is a fee for these classes.
