OAKS, Penn. — The Green County Family YMCA is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its 10 talented gymnasts who competed at the YMCA National Gymnastics Championship Meet in Oaks, Pennsylvania June 20-24. 

Over 2,000 gymnasts from 100 teams from across the USA attended the meet. Gymnasts from the YMCA’s GEMS Gymnastics Team were eligible to compete at the national meet based on earning qualifying scores at previous meets. Ten GEMS Gymnasts attended the meet, coached by Dawn Lederman, bringing home a total of 28 medals.

The following gymnasts received medals at the YMCA National Gymnastics Meet.

Level 3 Team Members 

● Aubree Cook: 4th Place Vault, 11th Place Bars, 6th Place Beam, 9th Place Floor, 7th Place All-Around

● Sydney Dunlavy: 3rd Place Vault, 4th Place Bars, 2nd Place Beam, 11th Place Floor, 2nd Place All-Around

● Mylie Jelle: 7th Place Vault, 7th Place Bars, 9th Place Beam, 3rd Place Floor, 6th Place All-Around

● Clara Lucas: 2nd Place Vault, 2nd Place Bars, 7th Place Floor, 6th Place All-Around

● Emily Menter: 2nd Place Bars, 4th Place Beam, 12th Place Floor, 8th Place All-Around

Level 6 Team Members 

● Jackson Kundert: 4th Place Vault, 3rd Place Beam, 7th Place All-Around

● Elliana Shank: 3rd Place Vault

Xcel Silver

● Evelyn Buholzer: 7th Place Bars

Xcel Platinum Team Members

● Mads Josephs: 6th Place Beam

● Kiera Indergand

All team members are from Monroe, except Sydney Dunlavy, Emily Menter and Elliana Shank who are from Brodhead.
