Nick Setterstrom, 10, and high school player Kennedy Foulker have some fun on the court.

The Monroe Parks & Recreation Department has openings in the Basketball with the Cheesemakers one day program set for 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 in the Monroe High School practice gym.

Everyone will receive a Campion’s Champion t-shirt sponsored by the Monsignor Thomas Campion Charitable Fund.  This is open to anyone in kindergarten through eighth grade and registration is required. Children who participate in the program can ride any bus from the elementary schools and middle school in Monroe and staff will be on hand to help them. Register online for Basketball with the Cheesemakers by stopping at our office 1110 18th Avenue, lower level of City Hall. Call the parks and recreation office with questions at 608-329-2460.
