MONROE - The WIAA released the regional soccer matchups and in Division 2 Monroe will open up play hosting Cambridge-Deerfield.
Monroe (8-7-2) finished the season with a 3-0 loss to Sauk Prairie. The game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, at Honey Creek Park.
Sugar River (19-1-1), the Capitol South champions, received the No. 2 seed and will host Evansville at 7 p.m. June 2 in Belleville. The Raiders, ranked No. 5 in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Coaches Poll, lost its only game this season to Oregon 2-1.
