MONROE - The U12 Rebel Striker girls traveled to Evansville on Saturday for their final game of the fall season and earned an 8-0 victory. Goalkeeper Megan Benzschawel had three saves in the first half. Olivia Werth scored two first-half goals for the Strikers. Werth scored her first goal on an assist from Emily Benzschawel. Morgan Seffrood scored a goal on an assist by Kennedy Ludwig. Emily Benzschawel also scored two goals.
Defense by Heather Burkhalter, Ally Einbeck and Aspen Bader kept Evansville scoreless. In the second half, Werth was goalkeeper and she had one save. The Strikers had three second-half goals by Heather Burkhalter, Emily Benzschawel and Ally Einbeck on an assist by Burkhalter. The Strikers finished their fall season with 5-1-2.
