The Monroe Rebels U10 girls soccer team lost 4-0 to Waunakee on Sept. 20.
The defensive line played by Rebecca Rath and Maggie Curtis held Waunakee to just one goal while Amy Weuthrich had four saves as goalie in the first half.
Anika Einbeck had four shots on goal while Megan Benzschawel had two shots on goal in the first half. At the end of the half it was 1-0 Waunakee.
Waunakee made a bigger push in the second half, scoring three more goals. Monroe had several shots at goal by Alexa Bader, Maddison Markham, Kayleigh Nesbitt and Karlye Mazahreh-Disch.
Monroe plays at Sauk Prairie on Saturday.
