Who should be this week's Monroe and Area Boys Athletes of the Week?

Monroe
Rachel Root, Swimming: The sophomore reached state for the second consecutive year, qualifying in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly.
Leanna Schwartzlow, Swimming: The senior qualified for state for the second consecutive year, finishing third in the Baraboo sectional in the 100-yard breaststroke and also made it to Madison in the 200-yard IM.
Area Boys
Cody Erickson, Darlington Football: The defensive back had two interceptions in the Redbirds' 29-26 win over Arcadia in the WIAA Division 5 Level 3 playoffs.
Alex Erickson, Darlington Football: The senior QB had 221 total yards of offense with three scores and added an interception in the Redbirds' WIAA Division 5 Level 3 win over Arcadia.
Jesse DeLorme, Brodhead-Juda Football: The senior made several tackles for a loss on defense and added two rushing touchdowns, including the game winner in overtime, in the Cardinals' WIAA Division 4 Level 3 playoff win over Nekoosa.
Alex Wallace, Brodhead-Juda Football: The senior ran for 168 rushing yards and two scores in Saturday's playoff win over Nekoosa.
