Dylan Starck, Boys Cross Country: Finished 25th overall with a time of 17:11.1 in the 5,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 2 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, leading the Cheesemakers to a fifth-place finish as a team.
Rachel Root, Girls Swimming: Finished third in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke at the Badger Conference swimming meet Oct. 29 in Fort Atkinson despite battling illness.
Steve Christiansen, Boys Cross Country: Took 57th overall with a time of 17:38.3 in the 5,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 2 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
Area Boys
Ryan McCoy, New Glarus-Monticello CC: Finished fifth overall with a time of 16:20.9 in the 5,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 2 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
Alex Wallace, Brodhead-Juda Football: The senior had 125 rushing yards and a touchdown in a playoff win over Prairie du Chien Oct. 26. Wallace followed with a 3-touchdown performance - two receiving scores and a punt return - in a victory against New Glarus-Monticello Oct. 30.
Drew Mather, Albany CC: Came in 18th place with a time of 17:15.26 in the 5,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 3 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, helping Albany finish seventh as a team.
Tyson Miehe, Darlington CC: The freshman came in eighth place with a time of 16:48.42 in the 5,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 3 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, leading the Redbirds to a fifth-place team finish.
Alex Erickson, Darlington Football: The senior quarterback ran for 215 yards and three scores in a playoff win over Lancaster Oct. 26, then had 148 yards on the ground and two scores in a last-second win over Stratford Oct. 28.
Tyler Dorn, New Glarus-Monticello Football: The senior had 125 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Glarner Knights capped an upset bid of top-seeded River Valley in the first round of the playoffs Oct. 30. Dorn then had 183 rushing yards and a score in an Oct. 30 loss to Brodhead-Juda in the second round.
Jared Johnson, Pecatonica-Argyle Football: Johnson had 141 rushing yards and a touchdown as the Vikings knocked off second-seeded Necedah in the opening round of the playoffs Oct. 26. Johnson then rattled off 100 yards on the ground with a touchdown in a playoff loss to Mineral Point Oct. 30.

Hannah Robiolio, Darlington CC: Finished 38th overall with a time of 16:29.99 in the 4,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 3 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, leading the Redbirds to a fifth-place finish as a team.
Kendra Sigg, Pecatonica-Argyle CC: Took 27th place with a time of 16:09.36 in the 4,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 3 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
Baily Hlavachek, Albany CC: Finished 41st with a time of 16:30.88 in the 4,000-meter race at the WIAA Division 3 state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
