• Ashley Hermanson: The senior scored 14 points in the Cheesemakers' 44-29 win over Oregon on Dec. 12.
• Kevin Klopfenstein: The freshman won the 119 pound division at the Sugar River Raider Scramble on Dec. 12. It was his second tournament victory this season.
• Josh Mayer: The senior returned to action this year after missing last season due to an injury. At the Dec. 12 Sugar River Raider Scramble, he went 4-0 in the 189 pound division, including three pins.
Area Boys
• Ben Schmitt, Sugar River: Topped all competitors at the Dec. 12 Sugar River Raider Scramble in the 160 pound division.
• Alex Erickson, Darlington: Scored 17 points in 61-44 win over Highland on Dec. 7. Scored 20 points in 69-33 win over Boscobel on Dec. 10.
• Joey Jordan, Juda: Scored 19 points in a 41-38 win over Black Hawk on Dec. 10.
Area Girls
• Hillary Best, Albany: Scored 15 points and had 12 rebounds in 55-45 win over Pecatonica on Dec. 11.
• Mariah Mohns, Brodhead: Scored 19 points, including four 3-pointers, in 59-52 overtime win on Dec. 10 at McFarland.
• Ellen Kiser, Juda: Scored 21 points in 59-30 win over Beloit Turner on Dec. 12.
