SOUTH WAYNE - Six Rivers East conference leader Black Hawk (9-4, 5-0) held off Juda (2-9, 0-5) all night, sweeping the Panthers in three games 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.
Gabi Lehner had 17 assists and three aces for the Warriors. Kim Wellnitz had three aces to go along with eight kills and Paige Butler added six kills for Black Hawk.
Juda's Mel Pehl had 10 digs.
Black Hawk hosts Argyle on Tuesday, while Juda is at Monticello.
Albany 3, Barneveld 1>
The Comets continue to keep pace with Pecatonica for second place in the Six Rivers East. On Thursday, they defeated Barneveld, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 25-14.
The Comets (8-5, 4-2) were led by senior Devan Brugger who had 22 digs. Sophomore Kaitlynn Schulz had 11 kills and Sydney Bump had 10 kills. Albany sophomore Courtney Pfeuti had a team-high 26 assists.
Albany plays Saturday at the Iowa-Grant tournament.
Brodhead 3, Clinton 0>
The Cardinals (3-0) blanked Clinton (2-1) in straights set 25-9, 25-18, 25-22.
Kristen Ruchti had 13 kills and four blocks for Brodhead. Jordan Riese and Courtney Mielke each had seven kills and five digs with Mielke adding a pair of service aces. Amanda Johnson had five digs in the game, and setter Cassie Wymer dished out 27 assists.
The Cardinals play Saturday at the Edgerton tournament.
New Glarus 3, Cambridge 2>
The Glarner Knights rallied from being down 2-1 to win Thursday's Capitol Conference contest 3-2 at Cambridge.
New Glarus took game one 25-20, but the Blue Jays took games two and thre, 25-17, 25-23 to take the lead.
The Glarner Knights dominated game four 25-15 to force a deciding fifth game, which they also won 15-8.
Kelsey Zimmerman collected 17 kills for New Glarus and Kaitlin Schluter had 17 assists.
The Glarner Knights play Saturday at the Cardinal Invite in Middleton.
Mineral Point 3, Darlington 1>
The Pointers proved too much for host Darlington Thursday.
Mineral Point dominated games one and two, 25-13 and 25-14 en route to a 3-1 win.
The Redbirds took game three 27-25, but the Pointers captured game three 25-19.
Whitney Hardyman registered 10m assists, eight kills and four aces for Darlington.
The Redbirds host Cuba City on Tuesday.
