MONROE - The Monroe boys soccer team may feel like they have unfinished business after a playing to a 2-2 tie against Stoughton Tuesday at Honey Creek Park.

The Cheesemakers (6-3-4, 2-1-2 Badger South) had a 2-0 lead at the half, but couldn't hang on.

"It was disappointing for us," Monroe coach Tony Stamm said. "Stoughton was happy with the tie."

Senior Belsazar Castellanos put Monroe up 1-0 scoring an unassisted goal at 9 minutes, 20 seconds. Monroe sophomore Blake Duffy used his knee and knocked in a goal off an assist from Nigel Tourdot to give the Cheesemakers a 2-0 lead at 28:23. Senior goalkeeper Kyle Williams had 12 saves.

Stamm said the key to the Vikings' comeback was the Cheesemakers were not winning the ball.
