Two YMCA camps scheduled for June

MONROE - The annual Eagle Extreme Wrestling Camp, held at the Green County Family YMCA, is set for Monday through Wednesday, June 23-25. The camp is conducted by Billy Huebner, wrestling coach at University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. In its fifth season, the camp is for wrestlers grades kindergarten through 12. Young wrestlers, grades K-5, meet from 5 to 6 p.m. while grades 6-12 meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Interested wrestlers should sign up at the YMCA prior to the beginning of the camp. Cost is $60 for wrestlers grades K-5 and $75 for grades 6-12.

• The annual Monroe Soccer Camp directed by David Harris and the Wisconsin Soccer Academy staff will be Monday through Friday, June 23-27, at the YMCA. The camp is for children ages 4 -13 and meets every day from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the YMCA on the Dr. Scholl Athletic field. Children practice in age-appropriate groups, working on skills and developing an appreciation for the game. This camp specializes in "first touch foot skills." Cost is $85.
