MONROE - Three Monroe boys basketball players received badger South Conference accolades recently. Monroe senior Charlie Kind was named second-team all-conference. Kind was the leading scorer for the Cheesemakers averaging 11.8 points per game.

Both seniors Kylan Helmeid and Jake Hirsbrunner were named honorable mention all-conference. Hirsbrunner (11.2 ppg) and Helmeid (10.7 ppg) also helped the Cheesemakers finish 9-14. Monroe lost a regional quarterfinal game to Oregon 37-35.
