WAUPUN — Tikeh Tazeh scored four goals and Drew Brueggemann had two assists to lead the Sugar River Raiders to a 5-0 win over the Waupun Warriors in nonconference boys soccer on Sept. 16.
Tazeh got his first goal with Isaac Ingwell on the assist at 6:30 to start the Raiders with a 1-0 lead. Tazeh scored again at 18:22 with an assist by Brueggemann giving Sugar River a 2-0 lead at halftime.
The Raiders widened the lead to 3-0 just 22 seconds into the second half on Tazeh’s third goal and Brueggemann’s second assist. Another goal by Tazeh came at 51:38 with Nolan Turner on the assist, making it 4-0. Arlo Belknap got a goal at 74:00 with Kaleb Weber getting the assist.
Goalkeeper Taydon DeRouin had three saves as the Raiders posted their sixth shutout of the season. The Raiders got 11 shots on goal.
Sugar River (8-1-1, 2-0) returned to Capitol Conference play at home on Sept. 18 against Wisconsin Heights-Barneveld at New Glarus, and then play at Lake Mills on Thursday, Sept. 25.
