BRODHEAD - Senior Erika Stampfli threw a no-hitter, as the Brodhead Cardinals defeated the Beloit Turner Trojans 10-0 in five innings in a Rock Valley South conference game Tuesday.

Stampfli struck out the final six batters she faced on her way to 11 strikeouts for the game. She walked four batters with three coming in the third inning to load the bases, but escaped the jam by getting Beloit Turner's Zoe Hale to fly out to end the threat.

Senior Mariah Mohns drove in three runs with a double and a sacrifice fly and sophomore Taylor Douglas went 3 for 4 with a pair of runs scored and two RBIs. Stampfli helped her own cause with an RBI single in the first inning and a sacrifice fly in the fourth.

Brodhead (15-3, 11-1 Rock Valley South) will travel to Big Foot Thursday.
