MONROE - The Monroe Youth Hockey Squirts 9- and 10 year-olds suffered two losses in weekend action.
They hosted the Polar Caps from Madison Saturday and lost 8-0. Monroe goalie Kobe Manor recorded 27 saves. The Avalanche Squirts fared no better at Sun Prairie Sunday, losing 10-2. The Avalanche got two goals from Tyler Johnson on assists from Trenten Prien and Jacob Ritschard. Manor had 22 saves in goal for Monroe.
