MCFARLAND - The Monroe High School boys soccer team scored first but second-seeded McFarland captured a 5-1 win over the Cheesemakers in a WIAA Division 3 regional championship game Saturday. Sophomore Nick Schumacher scored a goal on an assist by freshman Aaron Ziolkowski at 2 minutes, 14 seconds to give the Cheesemakers the lead. "It was a big boost and got the guys fired up," Monroe coach Tony Vasquez said.
