MONROE - Six players from the Rock County Fury girls hockey co-op team received Badger All-Conference accolades recently.
Seniors Maggy Henschler and Dani Heitsman were named first-team all-conference. Senior teammate Zoie Steig was named second-team all-conference. The trio of first-team all-conference players were the three leading scorers for the Fury.
Henschler led the team with 48 points coming on 26 goals and 22 assists. Heitsman was second on the team in points (33) with 16 goals and 17 assists. Stag had 17 goals and 9 assists.
Three players earned honorable mention all-conference honors including Monroe freshman Anika Einbeck, Monroe junior Cammi Ganshert and senior Mckaylie Beuscher. Einbeck was the team's fourth leading scorer with 12 goals and 8 assists.
The Rock County Fury finished the season 19-32 and won the Badger Conference with a 9-1 mark. The Fury lost a sectional game to Sun Prairie 3-2.
