Scheele a finalist for Jostens Trophy

NEW GLARUS - Edgewood College women's basketball player Megan Scheele has been named one of 10 national finalists for the Jostens Trophy, honoring the outstanding Division III women's basketball player of the year.

Scheele, a junior from New Glarus, is having one of the greatest seasons in Edgewood College history, having already broken her own single-season records in points and rebounds. She is fifth in the nation and leads the NAC in scoring average at 22.1 points per game.

Scheele also is second in the league in rebounding (10.8). Last week, Scheele moved into second place on the all-time Edgewood College scoring list with 1,481 points.
