VIROQUA - The Darlington-Cuba City girls golf team finished tied for second at the Westby Invite held at the Viroqua Hills Golf Club Friday.
Nellie Black led the way for the Redbirds, carding an 88 on the par-71 course, one stroke behind Lancaster's Shannon Farrey for first. Shelby Poss took third with a 96.
Sophomore Naomi Black improved by 20 strokes at the same course from a year ago, finishing with a 104, and Erica McCormish was 28 strokes better, carding a 110 Friday.
