ARCADIA - Darlington's Zach McArthur shot an 83 and teammate Bryan Reichling had an 85 Tuesday at the WIAA Division 3 Arcadia Sectional at the Par 71 Trempealeau Mountain Golf Course, but failed to qualify for the state meet.
Lucas Bergenson had a 95, Dan Lawson a 96 and Alex Schulte carded a 98 for the Cardinals, which finished seventh out of 12 teams with a total score of 359.
New Glarus, which took 10th (365), was led by Mason Lockard and Dallas Anderson, who each shot an 89. Eric Anderson had a 93, Dan Gerber carded a 94 and Lucas Lagen chipped in a 109.
Arcadia won the sectional (302) and Cuba City (328) finished second. Cassville's Colton Hammer led all golfers with a 74.
