MONROE — The Monroe Parks & Recreation outdoor pool will open June 1. Renewal season pool passes can be purchased online. Those who purchase passes before June 1 will receive a discount. 

Public swim hours are as follows: 

June 1-2: Pool opens from 1 to 4 p.m.; 5 to 6 p.m. adult swim; 6 to 7:30 public swim

Monday through Friday until June 6 the pool will host swim team practice from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Adult swim will be from 5:15 to 6 p.m. and public swim will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Starting June 6 the pool will be open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The swim team will practice from 4 to 5:15 p.m. and adult swim will be held from 5:15 to 6 p.m.

Pool weekend hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the public and adult swim will be from 5 to 6 p.m.

The wading pool will open early during swimming lessons. Wading pool hours are: June 17 to July 26 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, July 4 from 1 to 6 p.m.; July 29 to Aug. 9 Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On the weekends the wading pool will open at 1 p.m.
