MONROE — Recreation Park was home to the City Cheese Classic tennis tournament on Sunday, June 25.
The event brought in 35 different entries, which included current and former Monroe High School tennis players.
“We had 35 different entries in the city tournament this year and had some of our closest matches ever,” Monroe High School tennis coach and tournament organizer Matt Bordner said. “It was great to see so many familiar faces come back for the tournament, and also to see our high school players compete at high levels in the tournament as well.”
