2014 Lancaster High School graduate Zach Hentrich recently won the 72-hole Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's golf championship to earn NACC Player of the Year honors.

ARGYLE — The Yellowstone Golf Course will be hosting the Lafayette County Homeless Coalition’s first golf fundraiser and silent auction July 25. Tee times go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A picnic buffet begins at 6 p.m.

This is a four-person nine-hole best ball scramble. The fee covers nine holes, a cart and the buffet. Anyone not wanting to golf can still attend the buffet.

The Lafayette County Homeless Coalition is a fairly new organization and is seeking businesses that would be willing to sponsor a tee sign, donate to the silent auction, golf in the outing or attend the buffet.

All donations are appreciated. Anyone wanting to make a donation, sponsor a tee sign or make a tee time or who has questions, may call Ann Emery at 543-3664 or 558-0151.
