Rebels knock off Mount Horeb

MONROE - The U10 girls Rebel Mustangs traveled to Mount Horeb and earned a 6-1 win Sunday.

Aspen Bader was the goalkeeper for the first half and had two saves. Brynn Ritchards scored Monroe's first goal followed by Mount Horeb's lone goal. Ritchards scored her second goal on an assist from Heather Burkhalter. Burkhalter scored a goal to give the Mustangs a 3-1 halftime lead.

Monroe came back strong in the second half with goals by Olivia Werth and two more by Ritchards. Hailey Pick earned five saves as goalkeeper in the second half.

The Rebels will play their last game at home at 10:15 a.m. Saturday near the Moose.
