FITCHBURG - The Yellowstone Public Shooting Range will reopen on Saturday, July 12. The range had been closed for maintenance.
Some clean-up, seeding and final grading will need to be completed but jobs will be completed during the range's normal maintenance schedule, said Bruce Folley, wildlife biologist and property manager for the range.
Shooters can stay up-to-date on the Yellowstone range and find other range information and shooting opportunities by searching for "shooting ranges" by visiting dnr.wi.gov.
