Ramos tosses perfect game

STEVENS POINT - Three Juda-Albany softball players went out with a bang at the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Star games on Tuesday.

Amber Ramos tossed a perfect game and struck out 20 in leading the Division 4 Black team to a 7-0 win over the Red.

Ramos went 1-for-2 with two walks at the plate. C.J. Dunwiddie went 1-for-2 with one walk and Katlyn DeVoe was also 1-for-2 with one walk.

In the second game, Ramos came in with four shutout innings in releif and the Black team came back to beat the Red 4-3 in eight innings. Ramos struck out 10 and gave up just two hits.

Dunwiddie went 2-for-3 with a double.

Dunwiddie doubled in the seventh and came around to score the game-tying run to send the game to extra innings.

With international tiebreaker rules in the eighth, the Black team started with a runner on second and they scored the game-winning run on an overthrow at third.

Monroe's Kasey Gutzmer in the Division 2 All-Star games went 1-for-2 in the second game and also made three running catches.
