Raiders win delayed OT in shootout

MIDDLETON - Sugar River kept every ounce of momentum it grabbed Saturday when the third-seeded Raiders forced overtime against second-seeded McFarland.

After nearly 72 hours between the second half and overtime - overtime was postponed to Tuesday due to lightning - Sugar River outscored the Spartans 4-3 in a shootout to win a WIAA Division 2 regional final. The Raiders will play at Madison Edgewood Thursday in the sectional semifinals.
