POTOSI - The Potosi boys basketball team used a big third quarter to cruise to a 63-45 win over Pecatonica Thursday.
The Chieftains jumped out to a 17-11 lead in the first quarter and led 30-22 at halftime. The Chieftains broke the game open by outscoring the Vikings 22-8 in the third quarter.
Pecatonica senior Tannar Johnson scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Vikings. Pecatonica junior Wyatt Massey added 12 points.
