Pee Wee A players earn spot at Kohlman

MONROE - Monroe Avalanche Pee Wee A players Breleigh Stuart, Miles Gordon and Wyatt Janecke have earned a spot in the Kohlman Cup tournaments. The Kohlman Cup is a weekend tournament for Tier II Pee Wee age players from throughout Wisconsin.

These three players tried out for their region four team, where the team will compete against the other five regions of Wisconsin in a weekend festival.

This is Stuart's second appearance, and she will compete as a forward on the girls team in Verona, March Saturday and Sunday. Stuart is the daughter of Kate Stuart and Kevin Stuart of Monroe.

Janecke will be making his first Kohlman Cup appearance and will play forward on the '06 boys team in Eagle River April 7-8. Janecke is the son of Brett and Sara Janecke of Warren.

Gordon will also be making his first Kohlman Cup appearance and will be a goaltender for the '05 boys team in Eagle River April 7-8. Gordon is the son of Kevin Gordon and Natasha Jackson of Leaf River, Illinois.
