BLANCHARDVILLE - Senior Lexi Phillips had a team-high 16 digs and six aces to lead the Pecatonica High School volleyball team over Albany in four sets on Tuesday.

Pecatonica (3-6, 2-3 Six Rivers East) started out strong winning the first two sets 25-22, 25-13. Albany rebounded to upend the Vikings in the third set 25-20. Pecatonica edged the Comets in the final set 25-21.

"We really needed that," Pecatonica coach Jennah Schliem said of the Vikings taking the first two sets. "We were coming off a couple of losses. They really pulled it together in those first two sets. We struggled with serving in set 3, and Albany just took advantage of that. The last set was back and forth, and we pulled it out."
