ORFORDVILLE - The Albany boys basketball team couldn't overcome a slow start and some free throw shooting woes in a 58-46 non-conference loss to Parkview 58-46 on Monday night.

The Vikings outscored the Comets 21-13 in the first quarter and led by 16-points at halftime.

Albany (6-9, 3-4 Six Rivers East) outscored the Vikings 27-23 in the second half.

Sophomore Isaiah Shell scored a team-high 15 points for the Comets. Albany senior Gavin Ruef added 11 points while Tyler VanDusen and Ty Mauerman each chipped in eight points. The Comets struggled from the free throw line, making just 4 of 14.
