BEAVER DAM - The Juda volleyball team won the Big Red tournament in Beaver Dam Saturday.
"It was a great day of volleyball for Juda," Juda coach Scott Anderson said. "We dug the ball all day making points hard to come by for our opponents."
Juda (10-7, 3-4 Six Rivers East) beat Cambria-Friesland 26-24, 25-12. Juda senior Morgan Adkins had 20 digs and sophomore Sara Jordan added six aces.
In the second match, the Panthers rolled to a 25-11, 25-12 win over University Lake. Alexis Goecks had six aces and 14 digs to lead the Panthers. Jordan added five kills.
The Panthers edged Cambria-Friesland in the title match 27-25, 25-19. Jordan had five kills and five aces. Adkins notched five kills and eight digs. Goecks had eight digs.
