Panthers light up scoreboard, win 11-1

OREGON - Tyson Roher scored three goals to help the Oregon boys hockey team cruise to an 11-1 win over the Monroe boys hockey co-op Friday.

Oregon erupted for four goals in the first period. Monroe sophomore Payton Stauffacher scored a goal on assists from freshman Cade Janecke and Colton O'Connor to cut the Panthers' lead to 4-1.

Oregon (6-1, 2-0 Badger South) answered by scoring three goals in the second period and four more goals in the third period. The Panthers outshot the Cheesemakers 41-15. Oregon's Colton Eyers added two goals.

Monroe sophomore goalie Heath Bear had 19 saves and freshman Jayden Johnson recorded 11 saves. With the loss, Monroe drops to 1-4-1, 0-1.
