United Sportsmen’s Youth Foundation to hold fishing tourney

FREEPORT — United Sportsmen’s Youth Foundation is holding its first annual Pecatonica River fishing tournament from 6 p.m. July 27 to 8 p.m. July 28. Registration will be held at the Rock Hollow Conservation Club, 1931 Illinois 75, Freeport.

This event is for all ages, with divisions for children ages 17 and under and adults. Teams of one to two people can register by calling 815-599-5690. Registration ends July 26. The winner of cash prizes will split the money with USYF 50/50. Photos and weigh-in will take place at Rock Hollow Conservation Club.
