MONTICELLO - The Argyle volleyball team pulled of a stunner, defeating Monticello in five games Thursday night.
Monticello (10-2, 2-2 Six Rivers East) was coming off a loss to Barneveld in four games on Tuesday.
"I told them after the Barneveld game that we have to find a way to get over tense moments in matches," Monticello coach Scott Smice said.
The Ponies got off to a fast start, winning the first two games 25-15, 25-14. The Orioles rallied winning three straight games 25-20, 25-20, 18-16 to cap an improbable comeback.
