ARGYLE - The Orioles picked up their second win of the season, 44-21, against Madison Abundant Life in a make-up game, Monday.
Kelsey Bartels scored 13 points to lead Argyle, in what coach Johnny Hinojosa said was her best game in the post.
"We finally got a really good game out of Kelsey Bartels in the inside. We needed that from her," he said.
Argyle jumped out to a 15-4 lead after the first quarter and led 24-13 at halftime. A 17-4 third-quarter run sealed the win.
"We played our best in the first and third quarters. We played man defense and had a lot of people step up," Hinojosa said.
Katie Dammen and Frida Cuevas each scored seven point; eight Orioles scored in the game.
"We needed a lifter with some of the games we have coming up," Hinojosa said.
Argyle (2-4) hosts Albany Friday.
