Oregon blanks Monroe

OREGON - The Monroe High School boys tennis team lost a dual match to Oregon 7-0 on Tuesday.

Monroe drops to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in the Badger South.

At No. 1 singles, Oregon's Calvin Schneider defeated Monroe senior Silas Setterstrom 6-2, 6-4. At No. 2, Charles Donovan defeated Monroe senior Ryan Peterson 6-0, 6-0. At No. 3, Dan Koopman beat Monroe senior Nick Baumann 6-1, 6-3. At No. 4, Zak Roskos defeated the Cheesemakers' Nathan Smith 6-0, 6-0.

The Panthers' No. 1 doubles team of Sean Dychowsky and Kyle Rehrauer beat the Cheesemakers' Kody Althaus and Alex Tordoff 6-2, 6-2. At No. 2, Ashton Mayers and Jacob Ayers defeated Monroe seniors Ross Oxenrider and Jacob Kind 6-2, 6-0. Oregon's No. 3 doubles team of Sean Benet and Tanner Hake beat the Cheesemakers' Landon Knobel and Ayden Bergemann 6-0, 6-0.
