SHEBOYGAN FALLS - Brodhead's Michael Oellerich and Monroe's Gary Petit made the cut at the third round of the Wisconsin State Amateur Championship Wednesday at the Bull at Pinehurst Farms.
Oellerich moved up the leaderboard into 59th place with a seven-over-par 79. He is 19-over for the tournament and five shots from moving into the top 40.
Petit had a tough round shooting a 92. He fell from 33rd to 69th place. He is now 27-over, but Petit did make the cut.
He is now 11 strokes from moving back into the top 50.
Oellerich will tee off at 8:33 a.m. today and Petit will tee off at 9:09 a.m.
