NEW GLARUS - Junior Zach Feller knocked down five 3-pointers and scored a team-high 23 points to lead the New Glarus boys basketball team to an 80-65 win over Poynette in a nonconference game to finish the regular season unbeaten.

New Glarus (22-0), ranked No. 1 in the Division 4 Associated Press state poll, led by just four points over the Pumas at the half. The Glarner Knights outscored the Pumas 41-30 on the second half.

New Glarus junior Jaden Kreklow added 21 points, senior Dishawn Gale pitched in 11 and senior Cullen Brooks had 9. Sophomore teammate Connor Siegenthaler chipped in 10. The Knights hit 10 3s. Kreklow hit three 3s.

Poynette's Gavin Klosky scored a game-high 25 points.



East Troy 104, Brodhead 56

BRODHEAD - Senior Brekan Day scored a team-high 20 points, but East Troy rolled to a big win over the Cardinals Thursday.

The Trojans (17-5, 17-1 Rock Valley) raced out to a 20-point lead at the half, 53-33. East Troy sophomore A.J. Vuvovich scored 17 of his game-high 23 points in the first half. East Troy senior Logan Mitchell added 18.

Brodhead senior Justice Tway added 12 and senior Parker Johnson pitched in 10. The Trojans shot 90 percent from the free-throw line (18 of 20) compared to the Cardinals which shot 50 percent (10 of 20). East Troy junior Michael Polakoski added 18 and hit four of the Trojans' 12 3s.

With the loss, Brodhead finishes the regular season at 7-15 overall and 5-13 in the Rock Valley. Brodhead will play at Dodgeville in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal game Tuesday.

In other action, Barneveld cruised past Pecatonica 66-54 and Black Hawk rolled by Argyle 67-33. With the loss, the Vikings and Eagles are co-champions of the Six Rivers East. Pecatonica (15-7, 11-1 Six Rivers East) will host Central Wisconsin Christian in a regional quarterfinal game Tuesday.

Black Hawk (15-6, 8-4 Six Rivers East) will host Albany in a regional quarterfinal game Tuesday. Black Hawk junior Colby Argall scored 14 points.
