NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus High School baseball team had two players garner Capitol South All-Conference honors recently.
New Glarus sophomore Jared Carney was named second-team all-conference at pitcher. Junior John Chenoweth was named second-team all-conference as an outfielder.
Marshall, which had five first-team all-conference players, won the Capitol South title going 12-4, which was one game ahead of Cambridge (11-5). Marshall senior infielder Jordon Gomez was named the Capitol South Conference Player of the Year and was named first-team all-conference as an infielder.
New Glarus finished the season at 3-19 overall and 1-15 in the Capitol South.
